I’ve been planning to make my own MDD for some time, and was seriously contemplating making one with the DDH01 head.
And this week, MDD Rena arrives as a belated Christmas present from my bf! 😀

Missha is my first volks doll that I have gotten directly from the company. My other volks dolls in my doll family all came from the marketplace, either full set or I got their parts separately. So it was super exciting to un-box her straight from company packaging!

I’m used to large dolls, so Missha’s box looked so small and cute to me. I could vaguely see her face behind all the bubble wrap already! >///<

This is my first brand new dollfie dream purchase, so I thought it was really smart how they had the box divided in half like this with the doll on the top and her clothes and accessories on the bottom. XD

I’m most likely going to repaint Missha. But for now, I’ll just leave her like this =w=

Luckily I had some clothes left from a msd doll that I had sold some time ago. This is a set from taobao which had never been worn by my previous doll. The quality isn’t that great and it was annoying to put it on Missha. I had to remove her head and arms to get it on.

I thought the outfit looked cute enough on Missha, but the bf thought it looked stupid and demanded that I change her into something cuter and more fitting of adorableness. XP

Tried on one of my crobi wigs and I think it suits Missha perfectly! It felt a little loose originally, but I put a silicon wig cap on her and it fits great now. It’ll also help with preventing stains hopefully. ^^

After much badgering from the bf, I finally found something else I had lying around that fits Missha. This out fit got the stamp of approval from the bf and she’ll probably stay in this for some time until I have the funds to buy her her own wardrobe. XD;
