It’s fall season!!!

by chiseen

Midterms haven’t been letting up. We had our first round of midterms that started mid-September with one a week, one week without midterms last week, and then second round of midterms started again with one a week until second week of November. Think you finally get a break? Nope, finals are in three weeks! Don’t forget any assignments and presentations that are due in the interim!

 I tried planning in September to go to Fright Night for Halloween… Not happening anymore. And looks like, once again, I won’t get to play fireworks on Halloween either. 🙁 One day, one day I’ll finally get to play with fireworks. 。・°°・(>_<)・°°・。

Lab has been fun and interesting (clinical not so much). Learning new skills, and every other week I’m bringing home a “goody bag” of some sort (such as the IV tubing in the picture above) haha! XD

I volunteered to do a PBL presentation last weeks no one wanted to give up their thanksgiving weekend to work on it. It was stressful, but it was actuall a good week to do it since there were no midterms that week. And now I’m done all my PBL presentations for the rest of the level! Yay!

A little tip for PBL presentation schedule. Most people are going to try to do this, so it might be difficult. But PBL presentations will be assigned once at the beginning of the level and another one halfway through. You will be brainstorming potential presentation topics as a group and working out the presentation schedule. Be smart and look ahead. Figure out when assignment due dates and midterms are prior to going to PBL so when it comes time to pick presentations, you know which weeks are going to be workload heavy and try to avoid doing presentations those weeks if possible.

Went out for dinner at Pepper Lunch last night. It was really just a short eat and go dinner, but it was nice to see my friends for a short while. Not to mention yummy meats. XD

And on a final excited note (for me)… My AAO singles arrived!!! I procrastinated and started watching the DVD extras last night instead of doing work… ^^;
Mitsu and Nika-chan were so adorable and hot. Sen-chan needs moren love. (⌒-⌒; )
