I’m back from Japan and I wish it weren’t so.
I should’ve written this entry sooner so that the feelings would still be fresh, but then I’d probably start missing everyone and everything and start tearing up again.
I’ve told numerous people this, but my trip to Japan this time was both the worst and the best.
I wasn’t expecting to make friends. I wasn’t expecting to get attached. I wasn’t prepared for all the feels. But I wouldn’t change it for anything.
As usual, I didn’t take very many photos on this trip either. I think I’ve kind of developed this mentality where I’m all, “Oh, I know I’ll be back again so I don’t need to take photos”. And of course, almost all the places I visited this time I’ve been to numerous times already so I’ve taken photos of the same scenery before.
One of my longer trips in Japan this time. I spent a 6 nights in Osaka and then 10 nights in Tokyo.
Highlights of my trip would be Yamapi’s concert, USJ, Kisumai concerts, and Disney Sea.
A trip that was originally not very fandom-filled apart from attending concerts took a turn to ending up doing tons of fandom stuff… I felt quite guilty and apologetic to the friend who joined me in Tokyo who wasn’t a big Kisumai fan. m(_)m
Immediately went back to work on Friday after I arrived Thursday morning. That was tough.
Working hard towards hopefully being able to make it to Japan again in a year to see everyone is what’s keeping me going right now. Let’s just take one day at a time. Waiting for the day when things start going back to normal again. It’s going to take a while…
School starts again on Monday and I am terrified. orz
OMGGGGG!!! You went to see a concert? A J-Concert? (I meant Johnny’s Lol).
I wanted to get tickets but wasn’t sure how and was thinking if the only way was to join the fan club but my Japanese isn’t that good. And I saw this Japanese website that sells tickets too. I wasn’t sure if I should get it here or do it through the fanclub.
Was looking around for advice from people. Could you help me to know where and how I can get tickets. Do you think it is a good idea to go alone? (Cause I didn’t want to drag my friends who are not that much of a fan to go with me cause japan is really expensive for us and we are saving really hard to go on this trip sobs. Don’t want them to use their money on something that they might not be interested in. )
But my sister said she was willing to go to a concert with me ^_^/// so now I just need to know how to buy tickets. O Shiete Kudasi~!
Thank you!!! (sorry for the long post)
Yes, johnny’s concerts are definitely a fun experience!
I’ve helped you google some resources in regards to Johnny’s concert tickets, fanclub, middleman/shopping service:
http://rejapan.co/2016/02/07/how-to-guide-to-johnnys-tickets/
http://ccarollinee.blogspot.ca/2014/01/joining-johnnys-fc-as-international-fan.html
http://www.jegoods.com/ticket-service-faq.html
That would be all the information you need and that I could give you in regards to johnny’s concert tickets and FCs as an international fan.
I don’t think that there will be any problems with going alone. I’ve attended concerts by myself too. Unless you personally don’t like to go to events by yourself. But if you are strictly wondering if you will run into trouble with the concert/venue staff by being a solo attendant, you don’t need to worry about that.
If your friends aren’t big fans and you are trying to buy re-sale tickets, I wouldn’t make them go as it can be very very very expensive.
Hope this helps and good luck. Hope you’ll get to see your boys in concert. 🙂
