I’ve been wanting to visit ever since I started seeing pictures pop up left and right on my news feed from friends going. I finally found the perfect excuse to go when thinking of place to sit down and have a coffee to catch up with a friend.
I arrived a bit early, prepared to make a few circles around to block to hopefully nab a free parking spot. After two loops, I spotted a driver leaving the cafe’s parking at the back. I was quite lucky as there’s only about 4 or 5 spots in their parking lot.
Upon entering, you’re greeted with their beautiful assortment of donuts and a nice rustic interior. It was fairly busy at 1 o’clock in the afternoon, but service was prompt with ample seating. I wish I took pictures of the interior but its the kind of place where I can just spend an afternoon there sipping on coffee and munching on donuts while I reading a good book.
I did my research and was planning on trying their PB&J donut and/or their salted caramel one as I’d heard great reviews. They didn’t have the salted caramel so I ordered the PB&J and a medium-sized latte. Came out to be $7.50 if I remember correctly.
It didn’t disappoint.
The donut was soft and chewy and the jam was just the right amount of sweetness. I’m no coffee connoisseur, but I really enjoyed their latte too. I’ve only tried the PB&J donut and had a bite of my friends (don’t know what it was but it had blueberries in it); the donut and coffee isn’t something I would rave about, but it is certainly quite good. I look forward to visiting again and trying their other donuts and coffee specialties.
