Midterms haven’t been letting up. We had our first round of midterms that started mid-September with one a week, one week without midterms last week, and then second round of midterms started again with one a week until second week of November. Think you finally get a break? Nope, finals are in three weeks! Don’t forget any assignments and presentations that are due in the interim!

First breakfast in Japan. Chocolate bread from the combini
It’s been almost two weeks since I’ve returned from my 14 day long trip to Japan. I reckon I shouldn’t put off writing about it any longer otherwise I will start forgetting…
This trip marks my fifth visit to Japan and my longest and most memorable one yet. I’ll write a series of posts with the places I visit and things I did during my trip and hopefully also include some travelers tips for people who have similar interests as me.

I attended one of my first big lolita meets a few weeks ago and wore my Angelic Pretty Musee du Chocolat JSK.
The first half of the meet was a potluck at one of the local lolita’s home and the latter half being at the Burnaby Village Museum’s Haunted Village.
Lots of events and activities happened in the month and a half between this and my last entry! I wish I could say I took lots of pictures to share, but I have been extremely lazy on the photography front. Which I always regret afterwards when I see all the lovely photos that everyone else posts. D:
I guess I’ll post some photos that my friends took of me here as well as the few that I took…? XD
I got waitlisted for my nursing program.
This means that if a spot doesn’t open up for me for this intake (August), then I will have to re-apply and re-compete.
While it is a bummer that I wasn’t accepted, it might end up working better for me timing-wise. I’m planning on re-applying for next year’s August intake and assuming I will be accepted this time around, I would have enough time to finish my undergrad as well as improve my application.
I know that nursing is where I want to go so it’s just a matter of time. 🙂
This post won’t be about the baker’s event I went to, instead it’ll just be another food photo filled post again. XP

I am a couch potato.
I’m always sitting in front of the computer desk and I much prefer indoor activity over the outdoors.
Most of the time. XD
I realize that the dieting thing doesn’t work when combined with my love for food AND my lack of exercise.
Since I can’t go cold turkey with my beloved sweets and deep fried goodies, I decided to take up bikram yoga!
